ESPN Fantasy account help: route to the right destination

Section 01

What this guide covers, what it cannot

Most account questions on ESPN Fantasy route through the official ESPN account support pages, not through this independent guide. The page below explains the boundary so you can reach the right destination quickly.

What we cover

Editorial guidance on how the platform behaves, what each setting does, and how to read your league's rules. Pages carry a last-reviewed date so you can judge how current the answer is.

What we cannot do

We cannot access your account, reset your password, process billing disputes, delete your account, or fulfill privacy requests. For any of those, the official ESPN account support pages are the only safe destination.

Section 02

Account-level destinations on the official site

The official ESPN account support pages cover a small, well-defined set of account-level questions. Each one is owned by ESPN's support team and is the right destination for the topics below.

Password recovery

Forgot password, password reset, two-step verification setup, locked accounts after too many attempts.

Billing and subscription

Subscription tier, premium features, payment method, refund eligibility, billing-cycle questions.

Account deletion

Closing the account, deleting personal data, removing a league from your dashboard.

Privacy requests

Data export, access logs, marketing opt-outs, third-party data sharing.

Security alerts

Suspicious sign-in attempts, password leak warnings, account-takeover reports.

Notification preferences

Email and push notification settings for the ESPN app and the ESPN Fantasy app.

Section 03

League-level questions

Some questions look like account questions but are actually league-level questions. The list below covers the cases where the league commissioner is the right destination.

I can't see my league

Usually a sign-in issue, not an account issue. Check that you are signed in with the ESPN account that received the invite. If the league still does not appear, the commissioner may need to re-invite you.

I cannot access a specific league setting

Most league settings are commissioner-only by design. Reach the commissioner with the change you need; they edit the rules panel and the platform applies the change.

My trade was reversed

Either the league veto threshold was reached or the commissioner reviewed and reversed the trade. The official platform provides a reason field; ask your commissioner for the written explanation.

A league member is cheating or colluding

Report to the commissioner first. The platform's commissioner tools include removal and league reset. If the commissioner is the issue, contact ESPN account support directly.

Section 04

Working with the official support team

The official ESPN account support team handles account-level requests on a defined service-level window. The list below explains what to include so the first reply resolves the question.

Your ESPN account email

Include the email tied to your account. The support team uses it to locate your records. Never share your password.

A short, specific description

“Cannot reset password” works better than “account is broken.” One question per ticket speeds up the first reply.

Device and app version

If the question involves the mobile app, include the device model and the app version listed inside the app store. Most mobile-specific bugs are version-specific.

Frequently asked

Quick factual answers for the questions that come up most often on this topic.

Can I delete my ESPN account from this site?

No. Account deletion is handled through the official ESPN account support pages. This guide does not have access to your account.

Can I reset my ESPN password from here?

No. Use the official “Forgot password” link on the ESPN sign-in screen. This guide does not handle credentials.

Where do I find my subscription billing history?

Inside your ESPN account settings on the official site. The account dashboard shows your subscription tier, billing cycle, and any active premium features.

How do I request my data from ESPN?

Use the official ESPN privacy request page. The privacy team handles data exports, access logs, and deletion requests in line with the regions they serve.

Who can edit my league settings?

Only the league commissioner can edit league settings. The commissioner can add co-managers but the platform keeps the original commissioner as the primary owner.

Where do I report a bug?

Use the official ESPN feedback link inside the app or on the web product. Bug reports reach the product team with device and version context; this guide does not relay bug reports.

Responsible play

Keep fantasy a hobby

Keep fantasy as a hobby, not a chore. Set notifications so they help, not interrupt. Use the platform’s mute-and-pause tools rather than working around them. This site does not offer paid contests, so any “winnings” language you see elsewhere is not from us.

Ready to open a league?

Head to the official ESPN Fantasy sign-in to join an existing league or start a new one. This guide stays here for the questions that come after.
